    Chalet Chinook

    Beautifully appointed, the chalet offers 5 bedrooms that can accommodate 12 people with 3 bathrooms on 3 floors as well as a private outdoor spa.

    Chalet Chinook is located directly on Lac aux bleuets and has a great open concept design which flows very nicely from the kitchen to the living and dining area with floor to ceiling windows with lake views and a beautiful stone fireplace. You can enjoy the private hot tub after your day of skiing or golfing in Mont-Tremblant. You may also enjoy coffee or wine on the terrace and use the gaz BBQ to prepare your meal.

    You will enjoy this luxurious home during your stay in the heart of the Laurentians. The quality of the construction and attention to detail make this second home unique. The Chinook Chalet combines the warmth of a log cabin with the conveniences of modern living with WiFi internet throughout the cottage, a 45-inch HD TV, satellite TV with digital recorder, Xbox 360 and Blu-ray player in addition to a Chromecast to stream content from your mobile devices. So you can enjoy a movie in the evening or stream photos of your day of skiing while playing a game of Babyfoot with family or friends.

    The basement is fully furnished with French doors giving you access to a natural outdoor garden and spa as well as an outdoor fireplace. Chalet Chinook offers an extended terrace and a hot tub where you can relax during special evenings. Enjoy the beautiful evenings around the fire pit while observing the splendor of a starry sky.

    Animated by wildlife, the Chinook Cabin reveals a landscape of natural beauty. Pampered by the generosity of nature, our residents and vacationers will enjoy warm summer breezes, the splendor of fall colors and the spectacle of spring bloom. In winter, what's more enjoyable than hitting the slopes of the the largest and most varied skiable terrain in Eastern North America or going cross-country skiing. You can also go dogsledding, take a sleigh ride, enjoy snowmobiling, or visit one of the many Nordic spas. Mont-Tremblant is a great vacation destination with many hiking trails, lakes and a casino. You will also find seven championship-level golf courses in the Tremblant area as well as three national parks (Papineau Labelle, Rouge Matawin and Mont Tremblant National Park).

    You will be given a key code which will give you access to the entire cottage for the length of your stay and enables 24 hours check-in. Although we are not on site, you will be able to communicate with us in case of problems or questions and we have people on site that can assist you.

    RESERVATION DEPOSIT:
    A deposit of 50% will be required at the time of booking. Once your deposit has been authorized, your confirmation with a reference number will be sent to you by email. Please print, review & sign the rental agreement and send it back to us by e-mail within 48 hrs. Your reservation will only be confirmed upon receipt of the signed contract agreement.

    The balance of your invoice is due 45 days prior to your arrival.

    For the Christmas holiday period full balance is due on November 15th. Failure to remit the balance will cause renter to forfeit the deposit and the reservation will be cancelled.

    A 500$ pre-authorized security deposit will be charged to your credit card and will be refunded after your stay unless damages have occurred. ALL DAMAGES WILL BE CHARGED TO THE CREDIT CARD ON FILE/USED FOR THE RESERVATION.

    Please help us keep this chalet and surrounding area in a good state.

    BEFORE YOUR DEPARTURE:

    Dishes and Food:
    When leaving, start the dishwasher and do not leave dirty dishes on the counters. Please do not leave perishable food in the refrigerator.

    Garbage and Recycling:
    When leaving, please make sure that all garbage and recycling are put in the exterior cans next to the main entrance.

    Neatness:
    We ask that you help us keep the chalet and surrounding area clean. There will be extra costs charged if additional cleaning is required.

    Number of sleepers:
    For insurance and safety purposes, the number of individuals SLEEPING in the rental property must not exceed 12 people.

    Failure to comply with this term will result in terminating the rental agreement. It is your responsibility to manage the authorized number of sleepers in the chalet at all times during your stay. If not, our security department has the right to refuse any visitors and guests to the property that surpass the authorized limit of sleepers. Day Visitors are your invited guests, departure time for these visitors is 01:00 A.M.

    Non-Smoking:
    Please take note that is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to smoke inside the chalet as well as common areas. A fine of $500 will be applied if our team, after inspection, demonstrates that you or one of your guests have smoked in the chalet. All damages caused by smoking inside the property and additional clean up fees will be charged to the renter. For those smoking outside, pick up your butts.

    Inventory & status:
    In between each arrival and every departure an inventory and state of the unit shall be checked. You will be held responsible for all damages and/or disappearance of any object during your stay.

    Spa:
    Make sure you are clean BEFORE entering the spa. Keep the spa cover closed when the spa is not in use in order to maintain the temperature. If the spa water level is low, please contact us to get it refilled. Do not eat, smoke or bring glass containers (ex: beer bottle, wine glasses, etc) in the spa. Plastic glasses are provided. Never shut down the spa (breaker). Never sit on the cover whether closed or open.

    Snow removal:
    The renter is responsible for the snow removal of the decks and spa covers during his stay.

    Responsibility:
    Parents are entirely responsible for the security of their children near the water ways, lakes and pools as there are no lifeguards in place.

    Accidents:
    In no way can the owner be held responsible for damages or losses that occur to the renter.

    Linens & towels:
    Please help us and the environment by reducing the number of laundry loads required by using the least amount of towels possible. Do not spread wet/damp towels over the furniture to avoid any damages. At your departure, please leave the linens on the beds. The towels and dish cloths/tea towels are to be put in laundry room.

    Personal items:
    The owner does not assume any responsibility for damages, loss or thefts of the renter's personal effects or his guest's during their stay.

    Fire:
    No natural wood is allowed for the fireplaces. Green or Eco-logs are the only logs permitted.

    Internet:
    Please note that the Internet service at this chalet is LIMITED. Customers whose use it in excess of the established thresholds may experience slow or suspended Internet service.

    Respect of neighbors and the environment:
    It is forbidden to have noise or disturbances outside after 23 hours (11 PM)

    Fireworks:
    Are NOT permitted at anytime during your stay.

    Pool table or baby foot:
    Do not place anything on the pool or baby foot table. Do not lean the pool cues against the walls to avoid blue marks on the walls. Do not raise the pool cues so that they touch the ceiling. Children cannot play with toys on the pool or baby foot table. Do not MOVE the pool or baby foot table (repair, replace and re-level the table will cost a minimum of $450).

    Pets:
    Pets are allowed in the chalet but are NOT ALLOWED on furniture or in the Spa. Please make sure you pick up your pet's droppings outside and throw them in a plastic bag in the outside garbage can. Our maintenance personnel have the authority to have you remove your pet if those rules are not followed.

    Care of the property:
    Our home is privately owned, we expect you to maintain our property in a clean and presentable state throughout your stay. Our home is constructed with wood flooring for your comfort and enjoyment. To maintain the integrity of these floors, renters are required to remove all footwear (shoes, boots, sandals, etc) after entering the house. Remove your footwear and leave them in the tiled area. Any damages to flooring will be at the renters' cost. The house will be inspected after your departure and if the home is not left in a satisfactory state, this may result in charges to your Security Deposit.

    General:
    The decision to rent accommodations and use of all facilities/appliances/equipment (including the use of Internet, telephone, electrical appliances, spa, sauna, BBQ, gas oven) are entirely at the renter's risk. No responsibility can be accepted by the house owners for any event resulting in death, injury, loss of personal effects, or damage whatsoever to the renter or his/her guests' personal property. In case of an uncontrollable situation (power failure, water shortage, sewers failure, phone interruption, spa failure), no refund will be processed.

    Additional costs apply for early check-in or late check-out. Please contact us 48 hrs prior to your arrival to arrange either an early check-in or a late check-out. This fee will be charged to the credit card on file.

  • The CITQ is mandated by the Minister of Tourism of Quebec to administer the official classification of seven categories of tourist accommodation establishments. This establishment is visited by the CITQ every 24 months.

    The classifier visits the establishment and, using hundreds of strict and objective criteria, rates:

    • The quality of physical facilities (bedroom, bathroom, common areas, outside, etc.);
    • Its appearance;
    • Its cleanliness.

    The classifier also looks at:

    • Services offered;
    • Certain environmental considerations.
