Exceptional view! - Built on the mountainside of the western slope of Mont Orford, you benefit from an exceptional view of Lake Orford and the setting sun. Enjoy the fireplace and the functional spa all year round. This is a VIEW of Lake Orford.There is no public or private beach giving access to it.
Close to everything - 5 minutes from the activities of Mont Orford Park, 10 minutes from downtown Magog. The Chalet des Diligences is close to all activity sectors. Access to lakes Stukely, Fraser and Memphremagog in a few minutes by car.
Spa - The spa is functional all year round! It is maintained between each rental. During stays of a week or more, an interview of a few minutes is carried out discreetly. The goal is to adjust the chemistry of the water and maintain its quality for your well-being!
Fireplaces - Inside the chalet, there is a gas fireplace that works at all times. Simple instructions are posted on site. The outdoor wood-burning fireplace is accessible year-round. You can bring your wood. Otherwise, to simplify the preparation of your stay, we have some on site. Pay per use. It is possible to buy some at the time of booking.
Wifi - The high speed fiber optic internet connection is unlimited. Download speed is 100/25. This makes teleworking entirely possible.Many do.
Number of Guests - The chalet is designed to accommodate up to 6 people. The reservation must be made by a person aged 25 and over and be present during the stay. The number of people present at the chalet must reflect what was planned at the time of booking. Babies 5 and under are welcomed with pleasure, free of charge. Simply notify us at the time of booking. Note: We do not have baby equipment. Please bring high chair, bassinet, etc.
Events (Parties) prohibited - It is absolutely forbidden to organize parties (parties), events, group meetings are not allowed at the chalet. If this is what you are looking for, this chalet does not meet your needs.
Bedrooms - There are three spacious bedrooms with sliding doors. Two are equipped with a large bed (Queen), and the other with two twin beds that can be pushed together to form a large bed.
Kitchen - The large kitchen is fully equipped to cook your favorite dishes (or try new ones!).Cutlery, fondue dish, raclette plate, cookware, salt, pepper and coffee sugar. For the complete list, see the list of Supplies & amenities .
Bathroom - You will find a large open shower without threshold allowing the wheelchair to easily access it. In addition, a standard bath with hand shower. A sink under-counter allowing a wheelchair to slip into it. Several fixed grab bars are installed on the walls of the bathroom. Towels and washcloth are provided.
Animals - We are happy to welcome your favorite animal to the chalet! Under certain conditions. Be aware that you are entirely responsible for it. Only one animal per stay. Either a dog up to 20 pounds or a cat. It is essential to ensure that your animal's behavior does not harm the peace of the neighborhood or the integrity of the property. When you leave, there must be no trace of your pet's passage through the chalet. The chalet is inspected between each rental. It is your responsibility to ensure that any damage is reported to us. Compensation costs, including material and time spent, will be invoiced. The conditions concerning the presence of animals are listed in the Booking Conditions .
Drinking water - Our water comes from an artesian well 300 feet deep. It is of excellent quality. It is important to use it wisely. Washing your car at the chalet is not an option! A water softener is installed to eliminate excess minerals and optimize the quality of the water.
Parking - The garage, which is oversized, allows you to get out of a vehicle equipped with a wheelchair ramp. The entrance to the chalet is directly from the garage. Three other parking spaces are available in the courtyard.
Snow removal - During the winter season, a snowplow clears access to the yard and the parking lot as needed. The terrace and access to the spa are also maintained. Make sure you have tires adapted to the climatic conditions of Quebec!
UNIVERSAL ACCESSIBILITY
Electric adjustable bed - One of the two twin beds is an electric adjustable articulated bed. The head as well as the foot tilt easily with the help of a control button. This bed is at a height of 51 cm (20 in.) from the floor.Riser blocks are available on site to raise the bed up to 10 cm (4 in.)
Lift - We have one available if requested at time of booking. When you request it, it will be accessible and ready to use as soon as you arrive at the chalet. Note: The sling (harness) is not provided. The lift may not be available. If so, we will let you know when we receive your request.
Grab bar - Available free of charge on request at the time of booking, the grab bar can be installed where you wish before your arrival.For example, next to a bed or the toilet. A spanner will allow you to move or reposition the grab bar easily as needed.
Shower bench - A shower bench is permanently available on site.
Bed Rail (Bed Side Rail) - Available upon request at time of booking. We can install it before your arrival according to your instructions. If you prefer, you can do it yourself. Note: the use of the side rail will prevent the use of the functions of the electric adjustable bed.
Additional equipment - For any additional needs such as a hospital bed or other orthopedic items, you can communicate directly with the CLSC Memphrémagog . By informing them of your specific needs, the CLSC will communicate with us to make arrangements for the delivery of the material that you have reserved. We do our best to facilitate your stay.

NOTE: Prohibition of events, parties, reception at the chalet. Failure to comply with this policy will result in immediate eviction from the property without refund.
1. BOOKING TERMS
1.1. 40% of the rental cost is required when booking. The balance of the rent is payable 30 days preceding the date of the beginning of the stay.
1.2.When the reservation is made less than 31 days before the start date of the stay, full payment is required.
1.3. The Landlord will accept payment by credit card through www.chaletsu.com at the time of booking. Subject to reservation, payments by bank transfer (Interac) may be accepted by written agreement prior to acceptance of the reservation request.
1.4. A security deposit of $1000 CAD will be pre-authorized on the Renter's credit card on the day of arrival and released 4 days after departure if no damage is found by the Renter.
2.RENTAL CANCELLATION POLICY.
2.1. All cancellations must be made in writing via www.chaletsu.com . The date and time (Eastern Time) of receipt will be considered for the application of this policy.
2.2. If the cancellation notice is received 31 days or more before the start date of the stay, 50% of the deposit will be retained by the Lessor as damages.
2.3. 30 days or less before arrival: no cancellation or refund; balance of the invoice to be paid in full including all taxes.
2.4.In the situation where the stay should be canceled or interrupted due to unforeseen problems in the building (water, electricity, others), the Landlord's liability would be limited to the cost of the rental. Unused days would then be refunded, but no additional compensation will be granted.
Note: The detailed reservation conditions must be read and accepted when finalizing the reservation.
