During your stay at Chalet Moment Present, enjoy nature and fresh air. Located on the banks of the Bras-de-Nord river, this fully renovated up-to-date chalet will welcome you and those who are dear to you. Equipped with a covered outdoor spa, you will certainly have a lot of fun spending your evenings there in summer and winter. The chalet is located just 15 minutes by car from the Le Valinouët ski center and 15 minutes from the Monts Valins National Park (valley of the ghosts, hiking, boat rental).
In summer, the rivers and lakes are full of trout, the multiple trails are full of berries ready to be picked. It is a great place for all nature lovers.
During the winter season, you will appreciate the place for its central location between the city of Saguenay and the majestic Mont Valins. It is in these mountains crowning the region of these first snows that you will find a multitude of activities on offer such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, observation of a boreal fauna and of course, the famous off-piste snowmobile which makes the region famous.

Base rates calculated for 4 adults. From the 5th adult, $ 20.00 per person / per day is added to the bill. We do not charge any additional costs for children under 12 years old.
To confirm your reservation :
Payment for your stay is made by credit card via our transactional and secure website. You can book directly online at www.tavatachalets.com or contact a member of our team at 581-681-0575 and we will email you the confirmation link for your reservation.
A 1st payment of 50% of your total stay is due at the time of booking to confirm your dates. The balance is automatically paid on the same credit card 30 days before your arrival on the premises. If the reservation is made less than 30 days before your arrival, the entire invoice is then paid in a single payment.
* At the time of booking, you will need to complete and sign our rental agreement.
** Tenants are responsible up to $ 1000 in case of breakage. Tavata Chalets will reserve an amount on the credit card on site. In such a situation, the conditions provided for in the rental agreement apply.
*** Pets accepted in some chalets under certain conditions. Contact us to confirm authorization
**** Non-smoking accommodation
Cancellation policy
- 100% of the reservation is refunded if there is a cancellation more than 60 days before the planned date of the stay,
- If there is a cancellation between 30 to 60 days before the planned date of the stay, the tenant will be refunded up to 50% of the total reservation,
- If there is a cancellation less than 30 days before the scheduled date of arrival, the tenant will not be refunded.
** Please note that modifying a stay to reduce the number of nights is subject to the same rules as a complete cancellation **
