Located at 20, Batiscan Road, Le Bon Vingt (a play on our civic number!) is a magnificent Scandinavian-inspired timber-frame cottage offering an incredible view of the Batiscan River through its grandiose and generous windows over three floors!
Located high up, with a panoramic view of the river and its surroundings, this cottage will allow you to relax and rest, far from the hassles of everyday life. With no immediate neighbours, you will benefit from all the calm and serenity of this natural environment to escape in relaxation, lulled by the sounds of nature and the singing of birds.
A protected outdoor terrace will allow you to immerse yourself in nature at any time of the day. The sunrises are particularly beautiful... Come in to read or relax, your favorite drink in hand!
The exterior finish, made of natural, maintenance-free larch planks, is maturing from its original brown to a beautiful dark grey over time.
The cottage offers three bedrooms. On the mezzanine is a first bedroom with a queen size bed and a second bedroom with a double bed. A futon can be converted into a double bed as well. On the ground floor, one bedroom with a double bed and a single bunk bed, so you can be with parents or friends for up to 8 people!
The fully equipped kitchen will allow you to prepare any meals, from the simplest to the most gastronomic! A fondue kit (cheese, broth or chocolate!) and a raclette grill are also at your disposal. Being equipped with a dishwasher, no one will have to wash the dishes during their holidays!
The living room will allow you to relax in the warmth of a comforting fireplace. To liven up your evenings, or when it rains, a television with DVD player is at your disposal. With a large number of DVDs available, including movies, comedy shows and animated films for children of all ages, everyone will find something to their taste.
Everybody will find something in the basement play area specially designed for the occasion, including a baby-foot soccer table and an air hockey table. For lively evenings with family or friends, card games, Monopoly, YUM, Scrabble, Pictionary, tic-tac-toe, 100% mime cards, "Silence on joue" cards and more are available.
Fully equipped for children and babies! A playpen for the youngest sleepers, a high chair, a sturdy stroller adapted to the gravel road and a safety gate for the stairs are at your disposal free of charge. A large quantity of toys and children's books will keep your little ones occupied so that parents can get some well-deserved rest! Outside, a play module with swing and slide is installed.
Come and enjoy the river for a swim, or paddle with the boats provided. A wooden pier is installed during the summer period. Come and fish, or simply have a picnic near the river. It's a wonderful place to observe nature slowly waking up in the mornings...
Come snowshoeing in the surrounding area or sliding with our crazy-carpets or snow-racer, available on site). A cross-country ski centre (Le Sillon) is located nearby. In the summer, in addition to water activities, you can also go walking or biking on the forest roads bordering the property. The magnificent beach of Lac-aux-Sables is only 5km away, and an 18-hole golf course is 10km away.
Services such as Caisse Desjardins, supermarket, gas station, restaurant and much more are only 5 km from the cottage. For ATV and snowmobile enthusiasts, beautiful federated trails are also nearby.

Taxes for the published rates: Without taxes
Rates quoted are for 2 people. From the third person, $ 25 per night per additional person is added to the basic amount, except for the holiday period and spring break where it is a flat rate between 475 per day, 4 nights minimum.
