Relaxation and happiness await you in this chalet on the edge of Lac Creux in the immense Mont-Calme private estate in the heart of the municipality of Chertsey.
New construction (April 2018) located just 1 hour from Montreal, this bright chalet with more than 1,740 square feet of living space sits on 45,000 square feet of land in the wilderness.
No adjacent neighbors, only 3 chalets around the lake, calm is guaranteed.
Chertsey has more than 1000 acres of nature along the 5 waterfalls of the magnificent Ouareau River.
Near the chalet you will have access to the hiking trails which border the Ouareau River. Le Gros Pin and Les 5 cascades are guaranteed favorites. These lead to a small log cabin, the Yukon d'Or, which is located on the rocks along the river. These trails are beautiful ALL THE TIME! And on your return, a spa awaits you at the chalet, available all year round!
About 10 minutes from the chalet you will find the Ski Montcalm center (cross-country skiing, downhill skiing and sliding). The Ouareau forest park is 15 minutes away and the Spa Nordique La Source in Rawdon is 20 minutes from the chalet.
For snowmobile and mountain bike enthusiasts, there are also trails maintained by the Cherneige de Chertsey club about 8 km from the chalet.
Activities in summer (from June or before when possible and until October):
On site: hiking trails, swimming (motor boats prohibited) and fishing (head lake with clear water and lots of trout, stocked lake). Boats included in your rental: two kayaks, a large water mattress (available July and August). A dock in the middle of the lake is available for the 3 lake chalets.
It is not permitted to use boats other than those provided on Lac Creux. (paddle board permitted)
Nearby: golf course, Forêt Ouareau regional park, Arbraska, Parc des Chutes-Dorwin and Spa La Source in Rawdon.
Activities in winter:
On site: cross-country skiing and snowshoeing on magnificent trails, skating on the town's ice rink.
Nearby: Ski Val St-Côme and Ski Montcalm (tube sliding), Spa La Source in Rawdon, Super tube sliding in St-Jean-de-Matha (approximately 40 minutes), Foret Ouareau National Park (tube skiing). background and racket)
INFORMATION AND AMENITIES:
As for food, there is flour, sugar, salt and pepper, spices on site... In Chertsey, you will find a Provigo in which there is an SAQ. Very convenient! You will also find a great butcher shop at the corner of 125 (La Différence) Highly recommended. The homemade donuts from the bakery next to Provigo are also excellent.
A little shopping? There is Liquidation 125 (on 125) which offers discounted items from Costco.

Dogs are accepted with conditions but cats are prohibited at all times due to allergies.
