Magnificent, three bedroom cottage on Grand Lac Brompton for rent by the season or month. The one acre site boasts superb sunsets from the terrace and dock and has a private gently sloping site in a private domain. Just 90 minutes from the Champlain bridge and 20km off Highway 10, it is located North of Mont Orford. It comfortably sleeps 10 in 2 queen bedrooms and a room with 2 double beds and a futon. There is a large patio, BBQ and both indoor and outdoor fireplaces.
The cottage is located in Domaine Forest in St-Denis-de-Brompton. The Domaine is a private development of approximately 100 houses, each on its own 1 acre lot.
In Summer you will have access to the Domaine's; tennis courts and marina, all of which are 400m from the house. You will also have access to walking trails in the 140 Acre wood. Grand Lac Brompton is 12 km long and is motorized. The cottage comes with a canoe and kayak and is located in a shallow bay, so motor boats pass at a good distance from the dock.
In Winter there are 16km of cross country ski trails and snowshoeing within walking distance while Mt. Orford with its downhill skiing and groomed cross country trails is 20 minutes drive. There is ice fishing on the lake. Snow mobiles and ATV's can be rented nearby in Valcourt and trails come to Brasserie du Lac Brompton which is a popular spot is a mere 5 minutes away.
The cottage comes fully equipped. The rental includes bed linens, towels, and fast unlimited internet.

The person making the reservation must be 25 years of age or older.
Maximum of 10 people.
Refundable Security Deposit: 30% of the total amount for a one-month stay.
Regular Monthly Rate (32 days): $6,995 including taxes and fees.
High Season Monthly Rate (32 days): $9,995 including taxes and fees.
RESERVATION TERMS:
For all reservation requests, a 30% rental security deposit (non-refundable) of the total stay amount will be required. The final payment (including the $500 security deposit) must be made 14 days prior to the start of the rental period.
LATE RESERVATION: In the case of a reservation made less than thirty days before the rental period, full payment will be required at the time of booking. No credit will be given for early departures.
RESERVATION MODIFICATION:
More than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date:
The tenant may make a modification to their reservation (change of date, subject to availability) free of charge if the modification is made more than thirty (30) days before the arrival date.
RESERVATION CANCELLATION:
Less than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date:
In the case of a cancellation made less than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date, a credit of 25% of the total reservation value will be applied to the total amount already paid.
More than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date:
In the case of a cancellation made more than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date, the security deposit will be retained as it is non-refundable.
