The Le Riverain cottage is a recent construction that offers all the amenities of a home. Located directly on the shores of Lake Saint-Mathieu-de-Rioux in the beautiful region of Bas Saint-Laurent, this cottage will seduce you with its incredible view accessible from inside and out, its comfort and tranquility ensured by its large lot and the vegetation that surrounds it. Guests can enjoy private access to the lake. Indeed, Le Riverain offers its private dock and swimming area as well as kayaks. Your comfort being a priority for us, we have fully equipped it in new. Our chalet offers all the facilities for a successful holiday with family or friends and without hassle. You want to come in couples? Each floor has a bedroom, living room or boudoir and its own bathroom for more privacy. In the basement, relax in front of a fire.
Do you like to cook? We thought of you. Langostina Professional cookware set, espresso machine, fondue pot, slow cooker, waffle iron, round or square assorted dishes Several varieties of cuts (wine, champagne, Martini, ...) are at your disposal. For lovers of good coffee, an automatic espresso machine is at your disposal.
In winter, several activities are offered at Mont St-Mathieu such as skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. You can also choose to practice different off-piste sports. You can also skate on the lake or at the village ice rink. You can also easily practice off-road snowmobiling or on federated snowmobile trails.
In the summer, enjoy your private access to the lake for swimming or practice various water sports. Do you like boating or jet skiing? The lake is navigable and has a boat trip. If you want, you can enjoy the dock to tie your boat. We offer two kayaks purchased in 2017. Hiking, mountain biking, windsurfing, golf, tennis, giant trampoline, heated outdoor pool are many other activities available to you with or without fees, all at less than 5 minutes.
In spring and autumn, come and relax in a peaceful environment.
At any time, it is also possible, with advance reservation, to take advantage of the services of a massotherapist and enjoy a message at home.
We are located less than 15 minutes from Trois-Pistoles, about 25 minutes from the Bic and about 45 minutes from Rimouski and Rivière-du-Loup.
We have a certificate from the Quebec Tourism Industry Corporation (CITQ) as a tourist residence.

ACCURATE RATES
Winter season
Arrivals for rentals of 7 days are from Sunday to Friday from 16 hours. Departures are made at 11 hours maximum.
For 5-day rentals, arrivals are on Sundays from 4 pm and departures on Fridays at 11 am.
Weekend Rental: Arrival on Friday from 4pm and departure on Sunday at 11am.
Summer season
7 days rental only.
Arrival on Saturday from 4 pm and departure on the following Saturday at 11 am
Saison des couleurs
Minimum of 3 consecutive nights for the Thanksgiving weekend. Rate for 3 nights in the amount of $425.
Rates may change without notice, however, no increase in pricing will be made after booking. ALL TAXES ARE INCLUDED IN PRICES.
Terms of booking
- 100% of the cost of the rental is required when booking by bank transfer upon a late booking less than 30 days before the start date of the rental.
- A deposit of 50% of the total reservation (up to a maximum of $ 500) is required at the time of booking. If the 50% deposit is greater than $ 500, a payment agreement between the two parties will be made to facilitate payments. The rest of the payment must be completed 7 days before arrival.
- The reservation will be confirmed when the payment has been authorized. A reservation confirmation by email will then be sent to you.
The number of persons authorised at the time of booking cannot be exceeded, at any time.
