What is nearby? Lake Superior: 5-10 minutes from our cabins, Access included. This lake is amazing winter and summer. You get panoramic views that are breath-taking. Perfect for swimming in summer, and ice skating in the winter. Eagle Bridge: Inside the development, minutes from our cabins, there is a really cool cross bridge over the river called Eagle Bridge. You can descend on the side to get riverside, and take some nice pictures there. The water gets really shallow and you can almost walk across it, or alongside it. It is fun to see. Lac Monroe: A nice lake inside Mont Tremblant Park, in summer it is perfect kayaking and such, you can rent your kayaks there too. It is nice just to see it from the bottom level or hike up to La Roche Trail to see it from the top. The views are equally nice in winter and the park is open in winter as well! La Roche Lookout over Lac Monroe: a 5 km easy hike in Mont Tremblant park, an amazing view from the top. Chute-du-Diable: an easy hike to see this waterfall, very close to the la roche lookout, or Chutes-Croches, another waterfall! Checking out these 4 locations, will keep you nice and occupied on a Saturday, or any day of the week. Just drive to Mont Tremblant Park Secteur le Diable to get there. These are some of my suggestions; there are lots of more places inside the park to explore, just by driving around and checking them out. Another nice waterfall is Chutes aux Rats, a weird name yes but a really nice waterfall and higher than the other two. It is an easy access and really short walk from the road, to get there it is inside Mont Tremblant park sector la Pimbina. Make sure to stop at the bakery in St Donat, on your way in or out, it is what I do when I go there. It's a great way to spend a Sunday. Our favorite food places? Boulangerie St Donat: awesome bread and pastries and sandwiches 413 Rue Principale, Saint-Donat-de-Montcalm, QC J0T 2C Restaurant Tacos Lolita: really great Mexican restaurant. 804, rue de Saint-Jovite, Mont-Tremblant, QC J8E 3J8 Mille Pâtes: great pasta and gluten free and made in place. 780 Rue de Saint Jovite, Mont-Tremblant, QC J8E 3J8 Enjoy!
