Large 2 unit family home on private lake in the mountains surrounded by 250 acres of forest to explore. Ideal for family or group of 10 people. Unique site offering a large chalet composed of 2 autonomous units connected by a central living room. Each unit can accommodate 5 people and contains 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, dining room and living room with sofa bed. A large terrace also adorns the end of each unit. The large central living room has a large table for communal meals, a granite fireplace, a TV corner with cable TV, guitar, books and games. A powder room with washer and dryer is also available. Everything is brand new and professionally cleaned. Free internet access.
In winter, a walk in boots or snowshoes, a slide and a natural skating rink on the lake (depending on winter conditions) will occupy your days. Numerous groomed trails criss-cross our property, including one around the lake; for more daring walkers, you can go as far as Lac Neuf, at the property limit.
In summer, kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, pedal boats and life jackets are provided. A shallow beach is ideal for young children and there is a platform in the middle of the lake for more experienced swimmers. Finally, a chapel by the lake is the perfect place for meditation lovers!

Lac Labbé
Chute de la Marmite - (15 min drive) -spend an afternoon exploring this provincial park created around a waterfall/rapids cut through granite rock. Unsupervised swimming is possible downstream of the rapids. The remnants of an early hydro-electric generation installation can still be seen near the riverbank.
Granite Mining Display - (8 min drive or bike ride) - housed in the old fire tower across from the City Hall, this display en francais only gives a picture of the early settlers (circa 1900) and the methods used for extracting granite which was exported internationally. There are some old machines, photos, and samples of different granites and finishes.
Bois Rond Casse Croute - (10 min drive or bike ride) - local poutine stop and in my opinion one of the best. If you are not familiar with this Quebecois staple, then you must experience this local gathering place.
Biking Trail - (9 min drive or bike ride) - old railroads have been transformed into a network of groomed biking trails extending to Quebec City, featuring rest stations and safety patrols along the way. These trails are easily accessed starting by bicycle from Lac Labbé.
Alexis du Portneuf - (30 min drive) - cheese factory in St Raymond offers a wide range of locally made cheese as well as other offerings. It is possible to have a baguette & cheese lunch. During the summer months, they also offer the best ice cream in the region.
Vallée Bras du Nord - (40 min drive) - extensive trail system for both hiking and internationally known for mountain biking competition. Entry fee is charged to maintain facility.
Old Quebec City - (75 min drive) - a great day trip!! Explore the 400 year old streets complete with cafés, museums, street performers, restaurants, etc. You can also visit the old fortifications - one of the last walled cities remaining in the world!
