Terms and Conditions
Arrival and departure times:
ARRIVAL:
You can enter the premises from 5 pm to 7pm.
In the event of the client's early arrival, BEL AIR TREMBLANT will do its best, as far as possible, to ensure that the accommodation is ready prematurely.
In the event of the client's late arrival, please call the front desk the day of your check-in, before 5pm, to get the instructions to process to a late checkout.
At the check-in, to get the door code, you need to provide your identity document and credit card used when booking, for the withdrawal of the security deposit.
“NO SHOW” or no presentation of the customer:
In the absence of a message from the customer confirming receipt, specifying that he had to postpone the date of his arrival, the accommodation becomes available the day after the scheduled date of arrival, at 10 a.m.
The full payment of the services will not be refunded and no change of date will be possible. The reservation will therefore be lost.
DEPARTURE :
Departure after 10 am:
The customer must vacate his chalet no later than 10 a.m. He may not under any circumstances invoke any right to remain in the premises at the end of the rental period.
In the event of a delay, a sum of $ 50 per 15 minutes will be retained.
If the customer is more than an hour late, BEL AIR TREMBLANT reserves the right to charge an amount equivalent to an additional night at the rate for the season reserved.
Early departure :
No reduction will be granted in the event of early departure.
Occupants:
The BEL AIR TREMBLANT site is a private domain, reserved exclusively for its customers.
The number of occupants cannot exceed that indicated in the booking confirmation.
In addition, only customers identified during the reservation can occupy the rented property.
No other guest is allowed to stay in the rented property without the prior written permission of BEL AIR TREMBLANT.
BEL AIR TREMBLANT reserves the right to terminate the rental without compensation or reimbursement of any sum in the event of violation of these provisions relating to the number and identity of the occupants.
Bracelet:
During check-in (or the next day if it was done remotely), identified occupants will be given a bracelet that they will wear throughout their stay if they wish to have access to the equipment and amenities of the Bel Air Tremblant Resort such as the Club House, the swimming pool, the farm, the tennis etc ...
Failure to wear this bracelet will deny access to the aforementioned equipment and amenities.
Security deposit / Guarantee:
A security deposit of between $ 500 and $ 2000 will be paid on the day of arrival, by the same credit card that the one we have on the file.
In this regard it is expressly provided that:
- the identity of the customer must match that of the credit card with which the reservation was paid.
- the person in whose name the reservation was made must present themselves in person at the time of check in.
If one or the other of these conditions were not met, access to the accommodation cannot be given and no refund of the stay will be made.
In addition, the security deposit may under no circumstances be paid out in cash.
Its amount is:
Pods / Domes / 2 bedrooms $ 500,
3 bedrooms $ 1000,
4 or 5 bedrooms $ 1500-2000 depending on the chalet
This amount will be released within a week, after the customer has left, possibly minus any replaced items or additional cleaning which may be necessary during the cleaning of the accommodation.
In general, the security deposit may be subject to total or partial withholding in the event of non-compliance by the customer with this contract.
Housework :
The accommodation is made available to customers in a perfect state of repair. A check of the rented places is carried out on each departure, during the cleaning of the accommodation.
The premises must be left in a good general state of cleanliness.
The customer will have to clean the kitchen appliances, wash and store the dishes, replace furniture and objects moved.
If additional cleaning is necessary, or if the customer has not deposited household waste at the end of the stay in the garbage room, a minimum amount of $ 75 will be withheld from the security deposit.
Liability in the event of loss, theft, damage:
BEL AIR TREMBLANT declines all responsibility in the event of loss, theft or damage to personal effects, both in the accommodation or the Club House, and in the common areas of the BEL AIR TREMBLANT site.
The same applies if you forget personal effects inside the accommodation when vacating the premises.
Liability in the event of an accident:
Customers and their guests acknowledge and agree that they will use the Rental Properties in their entirety, all common areas of the Condominium as well as the Clubhouse at their own risk.
They agree to waive any legal action against BEL AIR TREMBLANT, and its employees as well as against all subcontractors for any accident (minor to fatal) or injury that they may have suffered or inflicted on the premises.
By “places” we mean in particular:
- The interior of the rented accommodation, as well as all the private parts of this accommodation such as, parking, balcony etc.
- All the common parts of the condominium such as roads, walking paths, the suspension bridge, sites under construction, etc.
- The Club House both inside and outside, the gyms, spa, changing rooms, sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool and tennis.
- This concerns all the activities of our site, namely zipline, archery, farm, buggy, lake, etc.
The client, should he nevertheless decide to sue one of the parties mentioned above, will agree to pay all legal costs incurred by such action.
Code and instructions for entering the accommodation:
During check in, the instructions and access code to the accommodation are given to the client.
In case of late check in, they are sent to him by email.
The customer acknowledges that it is his full and entire responsibility to keep the code received during his stay.
In the event of loss, a new code may be issued but ONLY DURING CLUB HOUSE OPENING HOURS.
Outside of opening hours, the customer will not be able to request the granting of a new code, even if he cannot access the accommodation.
Likewise, in the event of loss, and impossibility of access, the customer may not demand any reimbursement or compensation whatsoever.
Animals :
For safety and hygiene reasons, our animal friends are not allowed either inside the accommodation or on the entire site.
Failure to comply with this provision may result in the immediate termination of the rental agreement, without compensation or refund of any sum.
Parties and events:
It is strictly forbidden to organize parties or any other type of large-scale gathering in the accommodation.
Any meeting in small committee must be done in compliance with the rules set out in these regulations.
Alcohol consumption should be reasonable and not cause any disturbance to the neighborhood or any damage whatsoever.
Failure to comply with these provisions will result in the immediate cancellation of the contract, the expulsion of customers, as well as the withdrawal of the security deposit.
Smokers :
It is strictly forbidden to smoke in our rentals.
In the event of non-compliance with this provision, BEL AIR TREMBLANT reserves the right to invoice the sums necessary for the cleaning and sanitation of the accommodation and of all the movable objects comprising it, such as furniture, curtains, linen, rugs.
The cost of remediation can be very high and exceed the amount of the security deposit.
In this regard, it is recalled that the customer will be fully responsible for the actions of the occupants of the accommodation.
Consumption or possession of illegal or illicit substances:
The consumption or possession of illegal or illicit substances is strictly prohibited in the properties of BEL AIR TREMBLANT and constitutes a clear violation of the rental agreement, resulting in its outright termination, and the immediate eviction of the occupants, without any reimbursement of no sort.
Flammable substances, explosives or dangerous objects:
It is forbidden for customers to keep or be in possession of dangerous or flammable materials, explosives or dangerous objects, unless they have obtained the prior consent of BEL AIR TREMBLANT.
In the event of violation of this provision, BEL AIR TREMBLANT may terminate the rental and reserves all rights of prosecution.
Jacuzzi:
Jacuzzis must be used with calm and respect and their use may not give rise to noise pollution or disturbances for the neighborhood.
It will therefore be prohibited to consume food or alcohol, or to bathe in it while dressed.
Jacuzzis should also be used according to the manufacturer's instructions, that is, for hydrotherapy and relaxation.
They cannot therefore be used as bathtubs and it is therefore forbidden to pour or use shampoo, bubble bath, soap or any other product.
In the event of improper use of the jacuzzi, BEL AIR TREMBLANT may collect all or part of the security deposit.
Hobbies :
Any free or paid activity mentioned on the BEL AIR TREMBLANT site, or offered on any other marketing platform, or in an email, may under certain circumstances be modified or canceled, without any compensation being requested.
Evolution of rates:
Prices are dynamic and may change over the season, demand, offer.
Some customers may have benefited from promotional offers.
Thus, it is possible that for the same stay, customers have paid different prices.
Customers who paid the highest price will not be eligible for a refund of the difference between the price they paid and the promotional price.
In general, BEL AIR TREMBLANT cannot be held responsible for any difference in costs between two stays reserved for the same period.
Wifi Internet access:
Free Wi-Fi internet access is available to guests inside the house.
The owner cannot be held liable in the event of:
- Incompatibility or malfunction related to the equipment used by the customer,
- Disturbances or interruptions,
A password will be communicated on the day of arrival at the premises.
The customer is prohibited, during his stay, from transmitting on the Internet any prohibited, illicit, illegal data, contrary to morality or public order and infringing or likely to infringe the rights of third parties and in particular intellectual, literary or artistic property rights.
The customer also refrains from consulting, directly or indirectly, any content available on the Internet that may be likely to harm minors.
The customer is solely responsible for any direct or indirect, material or immaterial damage caused to third parties as a result of his own use of the aforementioned Internet service.
Security :
Whenever guests leave the rental, they are responsible for ensuring that all windows and doors are closed and / or locked in order to maintain the security of the accommodation and prevent potential damage.
Breakage and damage:
Any broken object or any damage caused must be reported by the customer to BEL AIR TREMBLANT as soon as possible. Failure to report may result in all or part of the security deposit being withheld.
To avoid breakage and damage, the furniture must not be moved, except with the prior agreement of BEL AIR TREMBLANT.
Any furniture moved will result in the withholding of an amount of $ 100 from the security deposit.
Maintenance and repairs :
BEL AIR TREMBLANT, its agents or contractors, have the right to access rentals at any time, in order to carry out any maintenance or repairs they deem necessary.
Thus, the aforementioned will be able to add, remove or replace any furniture, clean, maintain, repair and perform the work necessary to meet all types of needs and emergencies, without seeking the consent of customers.
Authorized agents include, but are not limited to, customer service agents, pool maintenance and repair technicians, gardeners and landscapers, exterminators and general contractors.
If an emergency situation arises BEL AIR TREMBLANT or its agents will attempt to inform customers and carry out the necessary repairs at reasonable times, and if necessary in their absence.
Parking:
It is expressly recalled that parking is done at the risk and peril of the customer.
Guests are allowed to park a maximum of 2 vehicles at any time in the driveway of the property and will respect the neighborhood and its residents by not parking in common areas of the community, or on municipal road, which is considered as a provincial violation and is therefore illegal.
If more than 2 vehicles are parked, the cars will be towed and the rental contract can be canceled, without the customers being able to claim any refund.
Vehicles such as buses, vans (Van), recreational vehicles (such as a caravan or tent trailer) are not allowed to park.
Emergency contact details:
For any medical emergency, dial 911.
Reception is open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Outside of these opening hours, it will only be possible to contact BEL AIR TREMBLANT in the event of an emergency or imperative need, such as major leaks or power cuts.
No partial validation:
If one or more provisions of these contractual provisions are held to be invalid or declared as such in application of a law, a regulation or following a final decision of a competent court, the other provisions will retain all their force. and their scope.
Language of the contract:
This contract is drawn up in French. Only the French text will prevail in the event of a dispute.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
Stays are paid in full when booking by credit card.
Once the reservation is made, the cancellation of the stay and its reimbursement may take place as follows:
- More than 60 days before arrival: in the event of cancellation of the stay a lump sum of $ 300 will be retained as a cancellation fee.
- Between 31 and 59 days before arrival: in the event of cancellation of the stay, 50% of the rental costs will be retained
- 30 days or less before arrival: in the event of cancellation of the stay, 100% of the rental fees will be retained.
Once the reservation has been made, no cancellation or change of date is possible.
Covid 19 or pandemic:
If the planned and booked trip is affected by government restrictions (confinement, or border closures), the customer will have the opportunity to obtain a credit note valid for 18 months (it will be possible to extend this period of validity in the event of new restrictions).
If the trip is not affected by government restrictions, normal reservation and cancellation conditions will apply.
