This charming cottage for rent is located in Saint-Calixte, in Lanaudière, on the shores of a peaceful river occupied by beavers. It is the ideal destination for a stay in the countryside, where relaxation and tranquility are at their bests. The property is in a wooded environment, offering you the intimacy sought during a stay in a chalet. In summer, enjoy the coolness of the river for a dip or for a ride in a kayak or canoe. Fishermen may have the chance to catch bass or small trout. For swimming, bring sandals or water shoes since the bottom of the water is usually made of rocks and sand. We also leave some pairs at the cottage and 3 life jackets.
Here, days end around the small fireplace on the shores of the river. We provide firewood, but bring marshmallows! For those who want to enjoy the water, even in the evening, a private 4-seasons hot tub is at your disposal. No matter what activity you choose, take the opportunity to watch the starry sky of the countryside.
Several activities of all kinds can be practiced near the cottage. In summer, you are 15 minutes away from the water park Atlantide St-Calixte. The Ouareau Forest Regional Park is about 45 minutes' drive from the chalet, where hiking and biking trails are available. The park is made up of mountains and lakes. In winter, the trails are accessible by cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Two ski centers are located nearby, Ski Montcalm and Val Saint-Côme, offering activities such as downhill skiing, tube sliding and snowshoeing.

A large bathroom with glass shower completes the house.
