Located in the charming Lanaudière region, more precisely in Mandeville, this little gem of a cottage has everything you need for a relaxing, hassle-free stay. The fresh air of the forest and the surrounding mountains, the singing of the birds around the house, this is what greets you upon your arrival!
The sound of the Mastigouche river will be a lullaby to the ears weather you are seated in a chair near the river or relaxing in the private 4 season spa.
The cottage L'Ancêtre is the neighbour of L'Autrefois, its' twin cottage! It is possible to rent out both cottages for larger groups.
The cottage is located at a 5-minute drive from the popular Natur'Eau Spa. For the outdoor and hiking enthusiasts, you will also be close to the Parc régional des Chutes-du-Calvaire and the Mastigouche Wildlife Reserve where you can rent kayaks or canoes. For warmer days, discover the beach of Saint-Gabriel, giving access to Lake Maskinongé.
In winter, take advantage of the snowmobile and ATV trails near the cottage. It is possible to leave the chalet directly by snowmobile or ATV to reach the official trails. There is the possibility of renting snowmobiles one minute away from the chalet, with Location Mastigouche.

Our rates may vary depending on the number of people. The maximum capacity must be respected at all times, inside and outside, for dinner or bedtime. Thus, all persons arriving at the chalet must be indicated in the contract. Our rates may also vary from season to season and are subject to change without notice.

To reserve, make sure you have your credit card number on hand. The 1st payment of 50% of the total amount will be charged to your card when booking. The 2nd payment of 50% will be blocked 3 days before your arrival and taken on the day of your arrival.
/OR/ A reservation less than 14 days from the date of occupation is considered last minute, the stay is payable in a single payment, ie 100% of the total amount, upon reservation.
In addition, a security deposit of $500 for a group of less than 10 people and $1000 for a group of more than 10 people or if the maximum capacity of the residence is more than 14 people will be blocked 3 days before your arrival on your credit card. This deposit will be returned to you following your departure if the chalet has been left in good condition.
