La Maison du Bonheur in the Baie des Chaleurs of the Gaspé Peninsula is an ancestral house that dates back to 1848. As soon as I saw it I fell in love with it! I welcome you with a bottle of a great Cabernet-Sauvignon wine named like my house: « Le Bonheur » with other happiness goodies ! My house offers you modern comfort in the unforgettable atmosphere of one of the oldest houses in the region. It is perfect for spending quality time with family and friends without the noise of a crowd of neighbors as it is located on a huge private 4 acre lot. Once in a while you will hear and see the train passing behind the house which will delight the little ones or the adults who have kept their childish heart! A short 3 minute walk on a bucolic path leads you to the beach on the sea. Usually there is nobody on the beach so you will be alone with the sun, the waves and the shells, it is a real paradise for the lovers of silence and peace!
And if you ever crave crowds and noise you can get to Carleton sur Mer located at only 15 minutes drive and enjoy fisheries, restaurants, stores, people, activities, shows, etc.
