Description
Charming little rustic chalet of 35 m2 (440 ft2) on a large estate of over 100 acres. Peaceful place, ideal for rest, retirement, rejuvenation, nature observation. The site is also available for meetings or special events.
2 magnificent lakes including the Étang des Îles, a large private pond for swimming with a small beach and dock. Finally, Lac Sauvage is a large marsh-type body of water with a beaver dam and canoe over 600 meters where you can observe many aquatic birds.
Abundant wildlife. Over 60 species of birds.Several different ecosystems. Meadows and mature forest with paths for walking, snowshoeing or observation. A true little paradise!
Electricity, gas stove and wood heating (provided). You must bring your bedding. Pillows provided. Double bed and 2 single mattresses on the mezzanine. The chalet is habitable year-round. In winter, you have to leave your car on the path and go on snowshoe 350 meters. Baggage sleds provided. Ecological toilet with sawdust (odorless) in the chalet and outdoor shower with hot water from May to October.
The chalet is a little set back from the pond, at the edge of the wood in the shade of the large trees and there is a large gazebo of 16 X 16 ft at the edge of the Etang des Îles and the campfire place. The gazebo has electricity and is fully equipped for cooking, including a BBQ.
A second small chalet was recently built on the shores of Lac Sauvage for use by the owners. The rental of the 2 houses by the same group is possible under certain conditions.
Steps have been taken to classify Lac Sauvage as a “private nature reserve” and provide it with protection in perpetuity.

Deposit of 50% of the rental price when booking.
Full payment on the day of arrival. Credit cards not accepted.
Cancellation policy: 15 days or more before the arrival date, full refund less 20% for administration fees.
Between 15 and 7 days before the date of arrival, refund of 50% of the amount of the reservation. Less than 7 days, full payment required.
Additional charges of $25 per adult per night will be added if the chalet is occupied by more than 2 adults at a time. $10 per child from 2 to 18 years old. Free for children 2 years and under.
