Cottage Rental - Eastern Townships - Wotton
This large rental property bordering the Nicolet River in Wotton offers a country ambiance with all the cleanliness and comfort of the city. Set in the heart of nature on two acres of land, there's plenty of room for your favourite outdoor activities: Frisbee and soccer in the summer, building igloos, snowball fights, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in winter. Come experience everything nature has to offer. The spacious lawn and river flowing by the edge of the property are popular play spots for children. A small creek also cuts across the property and empties into the river. Near the cottage, the river is rather shallow.
At La Douce Rivière, outdoor living is at its best: an area for bonfires, private all-season spa on the deck with a view of the river. There's even a hammock by the river, perfect for an afternoon nap to the gentle sounds of the river and the wind whispering in the trees.
*** The river is quite shallow in places and so not appropriate for large motorboats.
Kayaks and canoes are the ideal craft for navigating the Nicolet River.
When the water is high, currents can be quite strong so always wear a life jacket.
Between Thanksgiving weekend and Patriotes weekend, we cannot guarantee that the watercraft will be available. ***
INTERIOR DESCIPTION
La Douce Rivière has a maximum occupancy of 11. Large living room windows provide plenty of natural light during the day and offer a spectacular view of the night sky. There is a 50-inch satellite television and lots of board games to choose from. You'll find all the amenities you need: a fully equipped kitchen, dining room with wood stove and 2 bathroom.
