Description

The Pohénégamook Santé Plein Air resort now has an ecovillage-type development, which includes a host of country homes, luxury lodges with a rustic look and feel as well as four-star deluxe condo-hotels. Located on the shores of Lake Pohénégamook (Lower Saint Lawrence region), these units surround the resort, which offers a year-round array of land and water activities as well as health offering a complete line of body care, an indoor pool and outdoor Nordic baths. A dining room with buffet-style, family-type meals is available onsite as well as take-out menus.

Our country homes offer practicality, comfort and luxury.  They can welcome anywhere from 6 to 12 guests, based on the type of house.  The luxury condo-hotels can comfortably house 2 to 4 people per unit, but connecting doors allow both units on a same floor to merge and welcome groups of up to 8 people.  The interior is most luxurious with a slate fireplace, pine beams and flat-screen televisions in both the living room and the bedroom.

Our rustic-style country houses are the most recent addition to the residential complex.  They combine intimacy, comfort and a unique look and feel thanks to the pine beams and wooden floors and walls.

These houses have a contemporary or rustic interior finish, with pine boards and ceiling beams as well as pine or cherry-wood floors, a minimum of three (3) bedrooms, two (2) bathrooms and a fully-equipped kitchen.  With their large panoramic windows, the rooms enjoy benefit from natural lighting and a beautiful view of the lake.

Beach, nautical area complete with equipment :  sailboats, windsurfing boards, catamaran, canoe, river descent, kayaki, kayak, pedal boats, rock climbing on tower and rock wall, hebertism, Tyrolean traverse, volleyball, kinball and much more.  During the winter, cross-country skiing (42 km), snowshoeing, ice skating, ski sailing, inner tubing, ice fishing and Nordic sauna.
